Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of RealPros.ai (“RealPros,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Menutize. By using our website at https://www.realpros.ai or completing a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Service Description

RealPros is an AI-powered contractor matching service for local home services. We connect homeowners with vetted, quality-filtered contractors for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, roofing, and cleaning services.

When you book through RealPros, you are paying for a match — a vetted contractor who will contact you within 30 minutes. You are not paying for the contractor's actual service. The scope, pricing, and terms of the work itself are negotiated directly between you and the contractor.

RealPros is the dispatcher. You book RealPros, not a specific contractor. We match you with the highest-scored available contractor in your area based on our priority scoring algorithm.

2. Booking Fees and Refund Policy

Booking fees are non-refundable. The fee you pay ($99–$250 depending on the service category) covers the cost of matching you with a vetted contractor. This fee is charged at the time of booking and is non-refundable regardless of whether you proceed with the contractor's quote or services.

The only exception: A refund will be issued if the matched contractor fails to respond (no-show) and we are unable to rematch you with an alternative contractor. Both conditions must be met. No refund will be issued for dissatisfaction with the contractor's quote, timeline, or quality of work — those matters are between you and the contractor.

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By completing a booking, you authorize the charge to your provided payment method.

3. SMS Communications and Consent

By completing a booking on RealPros, you consent to receive SMS text messages from us at the phone number you provide. These messages include:

  • Introduction to your matched contractor
  • Booking status updates
  • Completion confirmation requests

Message frequency varies depending on your booking. Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier apply.

SMS Instructions:

  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out of all SMS communications from RealPros. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts will be sent. Note: Opting out of SMS may affect our ability to connect you with your matched contractor.
  • Reply HELP to any message for assistance. You will receive a message with contact information and support instructions.

4. User Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate contact information including a valid phone number capable of receiving SMS messages
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use RealPros
  • You must respond to contractor communications in a timely manner
  • You must reply DONE via SMS when the contractor has provided the requested quote or completed the service
  • You must not use RealPros for any unlawful purpose or to solicit services for illegal activities
  • You must not submit fraudulent bookings or provide false information

5. Contractor Relationship

Contractors matched through RealPros are independent businesses, not employees, agents, or subcontractors of RealPros or Menutize.

RealPros vets contractors based on public data including Google My Business ratings (4.5+ stars minimum), review count (10+ reviews minimum), and our proprietary priority scoring algorithm. However, we do not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any work performed by a contractor.

Any agreement for services, pricing, scheduling, or scope of work is made directly between you and the contractor. RealPros is not a party to that agreement and bears no responsibility for the contractor's performance, warranties, or liabilities.

6. AI and Agent Bookings

RealPros allows bookings to be initiated by AI agents on behalf of homeowners through our MCP (Model Context Protocol) and ACP (Agent Commerce Protocol) servers. If an AI agent completes a booking on your behalf, these Terms apply to you as the homeowner. You are responsible for any booking made by an AI agent acting under your authorization.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RealPros and Menutize, including our officers, directors, employees, and affiliates, shall not be liable for:

  • Any damages arising from the acts, omissions, or conduct of any contractor matched through our service
  • Any property damage, personal injury, or loss resulting from work performed by a contractor
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of RealPros
  • Any loss of data, revenue, or profits related to your use of our service

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of RealPros shall not exceed the amount of the booking fee you paid for the specific booking at issue.

8. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute regarding a booking or our services, please contact us first at the email address below. We will work in good faith to resolve the issue within 30 days.

If we are unable to resolve the dispute informally, you agree that any legal action or proceeding arising from these Terms or your use of RealPros shall be governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict of law provisions. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Bonner County, Idaho.

Disputes with contractors: Any dispute regarding the quality, scope, pricing, or outcome of work performed by a contractor is between you and the contractor. RealPros is not responsible for mediating service disputes. Our refund obligation is limited solely to the contractor no-show and failed rematch scenario described in Section 2.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on RealPros, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Menutize and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of RealPros after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via the email or phone number associated with your booking.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to RealPros at our discretion, including for repeated no-shows, fraudulent bookings, or violation of these Terms. Homeowners who repeatedly fail to respond to matched contractors or who submit fraudulent bookings may be permanently blocked from future bookings.

12. Privacy

Your use of RealPros is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
